BIO:
I grew up in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, with Ashram parents in a town known as the scenter of the universe because of its notable geographical resident, Yankee Candle (you've seen them/smelled them in airports). Nearby in Northampton, I learned about photography, fiction, feminism, empathy, music, and maple syrup. I do know how to tap a tree and stay warm when it's cold outside. I’ve made maki in a Seattle sushi restaurant.

I write fiction. All the books I own are a fire hazard. In college, I interned with the writers at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in college. He was nice.

I write and record music under the name See Jazz. Some of my music has been covered in Spin, Pitchfork, The A.V. Club, The New Yorker, and NYLON. Once upon a time, I lived in a music venue.

I volunteer at 826NYC, helping students ages 6-18 with their storytelling chops.
